DELEON TO CONTINUE REMOTE LEARNING THROUGH NOVEMBER 20

DeLeon Elementary transitioned to remote learning on Wednesday, November 4, 2020, as a
precaution to help slow the spread of the COVID-19 virus on campus. DeLeon's expected date
to resume face-to-face learning on Wednesday, November 18, 2020, has changed to maintain
consistency for students, families, and staff; DeLeon will remain remote learning through the
end of the week, resuming face-to-face learning on Monday, November 30, 2020.

As more COVID-19 cases are being confirmed across the state, please remain vigilant. Monitor
yourself and your family for symptoms of COVID-19.

Any of the following symptoms indicate a possible COVID-19 infection:

● Temperature of 100.0 degrees Fahrenheit or higher when taken by mouth;
● Sore throat;
● New uncontrolled cough causing difficulty breathing (or, for students with a chronic
allergic/asthmatic cough, a change in their cough from baseline);
● Diarrhea, vomiting, or abdominal pain; or
● New onset of severe headache, especially with a fever.

Our students' and staffs' safety and health remain the district's primary responsibility. We greatly
appreciate your families' flexibility, patience, and support.
