PLEASE NOTE: 
The details below are subject to change as directives are provided by governing authorities and/or health officials or as environmental conditions change.
Remote instruction will include both synchronous and asynchronous instruction:
  • Synchronous instruction --  two-way, real-time, live instruction between teachers and students, through the computer or other electronic devices or over the phone.
  • Asynchronous instruction – when students engage in the learning materials on their own time, interacting intermittently with the teacher via the computer or other electronic devices or over the phone. Includes pre-recorded videos.
Monday-Thursday Bell Schedule
 
Students who continue online will follow the same schedule as Face-to-Face.  All virtual students are encouraged to login during their class time. 
 
If a Remote Learning student is not able to login during class time, then classwork and assignments will be posted in TEAMS. Students are encouraged to bring their own device to school.

Any students waiting outside for a car ride after 12:45 p.m. will be escorted back into the building for supervision. Parents can check students out in the front office. Students staying for on-campus supervision/afternoon supports will be called to the gym. Once morning students are dismissed, students will roll over to the cafeteria for lunch.

Staggered dismissal at 12:30 p.m.:
• Walkers
• Bus riders to the library to wait for the bus
• Students staying for the afternoon to the cafeteria
• Car riders

Any students waiting outside for a car ride after 12:45 p.m. will be escorted back into the building for supervision. Parents may check students out in the front office. Students staying for on-campus supervision/afternoon supports will report to the cafeteria.

Dismissal Duties from 3:45-4 p.m.

Students who are not pulled out for targeted small group intervention with teachers will report to and remain in the following locations with the following staff members for supervision, technology time on IXL, small group tutorials, and homework assistance:
• 6th grade - Library or computer lab 137 (D. Grahmann/J. Grahmann/Dicken) depending on student attendance.
• 7th grade - Villarreal in 229 or Velasquez in 231
• 8th grade - Cruz in 316 or Erickson in 311
 
Dismissal, 3:45-4:15 p.m.
• Bus Riders – report to the cafeteria
• Walkers – walk off campus
• Car Riders – report to parent pickup parking lot by tennis court
Synchronous:
  • Every period attendance will be taken
  • ADA Snapshot 10:30 a.m.
 Asynchronous (If the student missed attendance during the synchronous class.):
  • One lesson recorded with agenda and links posted so students can go back that same day to gain attendance. Students will have to watch the recorded class, complete all assignments of the day, and turn in required work by 11:50 p.m. on the same day to get counted present for asynchronous attendance.
  • The student can follow the district grading policy for late work to still get some credit for the assignment in the gradebook, but the student will not be able to be marked present for the day if the work is not completed by 11:50 p.m. on the same day the instruction was given/posted.
 
Full Day Attendance
Campuses will provide access to full-day instruction for parents that would like for their student to engage in a full day of instruction. (i.e.) Monday through Friday 8:30 a.m. – 3:30 p.m. Parents must notify the campus that they are requesting full-day instruction for their child.
 
Advanced Academics
8th Grade Advanced Academics will receive academic enrichment on Tuesday’s and Thursday’s through asynchronous instruction. These assignments and lessons will be provided through our Advanced Academics Department.
 
Students Interventions
Students in need of academic enrichments and or interventions will have an opportunity to receive supports Monday through Friday during the 2 to 4 p.m. Teacher Office Hours. Enrichments and interventions can be synchronous or asynchronous as determined by the teacher and the needs of the student.
