Priority Registration for 2023-24

As Victoria ISD prepares for the 2023-24 school year, online student priority registration will begin on Monday, May 1, 2023. All students, current and new, who will attend a VISD school in the 2023-24 school year must register using the online system, including those entering the Early Childhood Center and Pre-K. Online registration is available in both English and Spanish.

The Priority Registration window will be May 1-31. By completing online student Priority Registration between May 1-31, families are able to secure seats at their Elementary Home Zoned Campus and/or support Secondary Student Course Selections.

Beginning April 24, VISD will email parents/guardians of students currently enrolled in the VISD a Snapcode letter. The Snapcode is like a key to the child’s VISD enrollment data, and it is how the parent will access the online enrollment process for a current student. It is important to note that parents with more than one child currently enrolled in the VISD should receive a unique Snapcode for each current student.

Parents of students new to VISD in 2023-24 can also log on to the VISD online registration link beginning May 1 to register for 2023-24 by clicking on the “Online Student Registration” button on the VISD website homepage. No Snapcode is needed for new students.

The online registration process allows parents to submit information and upload relevant documents directly to the district using computers, smartphones, or tablets. The vast majority of parents will not need to visit their child(ren)’s campus to complete the registration process unless contacted by school staff.

BOTH NEW AND CURRENT students will need to upload proof of address, parent/guardian photo ID, and if entering grades EE, P3, PK, K, or 7th, a current immunization record. If additional documents are needed, the school will contact you.

Students whose registration is not completed during Priority Registration may be via the online system by the first day of school and may not have a course schedule and/or may not have a school/teacher assignment. Parents are encouraged to complete the online registration process as early as possible.

By registering online early, VISD can plan accordingly for classroom space at each of our campuses.

If a parent does not have internet access or needs assistance with the online registration process, they can contact any VISD campus during regular business hours to make an appointment for online registration assistance.

Additional information about the online registration process is posted on the VISD website at www.visd.net/registration.
